can i pay with insurance?

In order to deliver high quality personalized care, Paradigm Psychiatry must remain free of bureaucratic restrictions currently congesting the healthcare system.

However, if you have non-Medicare/Medicaid coverage, you may be eligible for reimbursement with “Out-of-Network” benefits.

which conditions can be treated with TMS?

TMS was initially approved for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder; therefore the most robust evidence and widespread Insurance coverage exists for this condition.

Recently, it has also received approval for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Smoking Cessation.

Compelling evidence is mounting for:

  • ADHD

  • Chronic Pain

  • Dementia

  • Parkinson’s Disease

  • Anxiety

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • PTSD

  • Insomnia

Off-label treatment protocols can be customized to suit your needs, but please note this is not covered by insurance.

is tms like shock therapy/electroconvulsive therapy (ECT)?

No. ECT is an intensive procedure that requires anesthesia. A seizure is deliberately induced to “shock” the brain.

On the other hand, TMS is a form of Non-Invasive Brain Stimulation (NIBS). It does not require anesthesia, IV, or anything invasive at all.

You will remain awake and alert throughout the procedure.
